The Water Pig

The Water Pig is conscientious and caring. As a result, when things are not going his way, he feels this deeply and can worry over his situation. However, in the Horse year his prospects are much improved and he will be able to put some of his problems and disappointments behind him. This is a year to focus on the present rather than feel hindered by what has gone before.

The Horse year is one of growth and will bring the Water Pig some excellent chances to develop his skills. Whether in his work or his interests, he should look to build on his strengths and invest in himself and his future. As he adds to his knowledge, new ideas can occur and new possibilities open up. A lot that the Water Pig does this year can have knock-on effects, and by furthering his skills, he will be helping create chances.

This emphasis on development will be especially evident in his work situation. Water Pigs who have been in the same position for some time will often find their in-depth knowledge leading to the offer of promotion. This may be something the Water Pig has been working towards for some time.

For Water Pigs who are dissatisfied in their present type of work, or seeking work, again the Horse year can bring interesting developments. To help their chances, these Water Pigs should widen the scope of positions they are prepared to consider as well as think of ways in which they can use and adapt their strengths. By showing determination and actively pursuing vacancies, quite a few will secure what can be a significant opportunity. Considerable learning may be involved, but with this being a year favouring development, skills and experience gained now can prove very helpful to longer-term prospects. February to early April, September and October could see encouraging developments, but throughout the Horse year when these Water Pigs see an opportunity they should act quickly.

Progress made at work can also help financially, but with existing commitments and expensive plans, the Water Pig will need to keep a close watch on outgoings. If he enters into an agreement he also needs to check the terms and be fully aware of the obligations and implications. This is a year when he needs to be thorough.

Personal interests are favourably aspected and the Water Pig will again have good opportunities to develop his skills and ideas. With the Pig being traditionally an enterprising sign, some Water Pigs may also find a way to turn a hobby or interest into a profitable sideline. Others could be attracted to a new interest this year or find an existing one opening up new possibilities. With a willing approach, the Water Pig can enjoy and often benefit from what he does over the year.
